Ever considered a career at MTA?
Guy Henderson
Those of us who work on corresponding with MTA customers through social media like to think that we see and hear it all. But when we get out and talk to the men and women who make the MTA system run, we see what a sheltered life we lead. The challenge of handling 100 million boardings every year requires a lot of hard work, dedication, patience – and good humor. That came through loud and clear last week during Employee Appreciation Day.
We thought you’d appreciate this home-grown video we created. You’ll see how, despite the challenges, MTA employees generally like what they do. You’ll also see that they get a lot of satisfaction working in an organization that appreciates their efforts, and that offers plenty of opportunities for advancement.
We invite you to take a couple of minutes to hear from some of these employees as they describe why they enjoy working at MTA. It may not surprise you to learn that most of our people are “people persons.” They like helping their fellow travelers, and they appreciate the satisfaction that comes from doing a good job.
Does this sound like you? MTA might be a really satisfying place for you to work, too.
